Sgakspeare sonnet's
Shakspeare sonnet's address topics such as love, beauty, politics and the brevity of life. They were probably written over several years. The 154 poems included in the 1609 edition of Shake-speare on SONNET, this collection includes 152 previously unpublished sonnets and two sonnets published in 1599 (No. 138 and 144) in an anthology entitled The passionate Pilgrim.
One of his most famous sonnets is the following :
Sonnet 18
Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate.
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date.
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimm'd;
And every fair from fair some time declines,
By chance, or nature's changing course, untrimm'd;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that fair thou owest;
Nor shall Death brag thou wand'rest in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grows't:
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.
Other interessting sonnets : the 30 , 78 and 154 ^^
hope you'll enjoy ^^

Re: Sgakspeare sonnet's
I must say that this is really something which has a relation with art , Shak is describing something hidden in his words, something strong...even his writing is above my understanding but i think that this is something wanted...He wants to make you think...think of life,of seasons of things that touch the human being....Blackpunk you must help me to understand^^ if you understood something ...this is making me think of a lot of things i would just only that this is art!!!! so give us more Blackpunk!!!

"If music be the food of love, play on"
Juliet:
O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?
Deny thy father and refuse thy name;
Or if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love
And I'll no longer be a Capulet.
Romeo:
[Aside] Shall I hear more, or shall I speak at this?
Juliet:
'Tis but thy name that is my enemy:
Thou art thyself, though not a Montague.
What's Montague? It is nor hand nor foot,
Nor arm nor face, nor any other part
Belonging to a man. O be some other name!
What's in a name? That which we call a rose
By any other word would smell as sweet;
So Romeo would, were he not Romeo call'd,
Retain that dear perfection which he owes
Without that title. Romeo, doff thy name,
and for thy name, which is no part of thee,
Take all myself.
